American Capitalism...gone without a whimper
This article was written by a Pravda writer, Stanislav Mishin on May 18, 2009. The article was reprinted in LewRockwell.com. It needs to appear on the front page of every newspaper in the country. Ask any American male any question about baseball, football, basketball, or hockey and most can rattle off the answer as easily as they can recite the the number on their Social Security card or on their driver's license. Ask them to name the current and last six vice presidents and only a few will be able to do so.

We are an increasingly self-centered people. We are the what's-in-it-for-me generation. We have developed such tunnel vision to the events taking place around us that we have closed our eyes to anything that does not directly impact us at the moment. We are the best gift any totalitarian seeking dictatorial control over a nation could ask for. After all, it was self-centered, self-interested people that made up the populations of Russia, China, Korea, Japan, Germany, Italy and ever other nation in the history of the world that allowed despotic tyrants to enslave them and, in the case of most dictatorships, commit genocide to not only eliminate opposition to the despot who seized power, but to instill enough fear in the people that resistance to national slavery was out of the question. That's why Mishin's article is all the more important. Read it...then read it again. Read it until you understand what Mishin is saying.

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American descent into Marxism is happening with breathtaking speed, against the backdrop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant "people."

True, the situation has been well-prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather than the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas in than in the drama in DC that directly affect their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonald's burger or a Burger King burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy." Pride fools the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more than Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top Protestant mega-preachers were more than happy to sell their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo-Marxist politicians or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for Earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more than another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Weimar Republic and, at worse, Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the breathtaking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system by the very thieves who used it bankroll their thefts, losses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian Oligarchs look like little more than ordinary street thugs in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beaten our own thieves in the sheer volume [of their theft]. Should we congratulate them?

These men, of course, are not an elected panel, but [are] made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties, and powers of the American Congress. Again, Congress has put up little more than a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motors) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power—self-given power—to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.

So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will no redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantor of automotive policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less than two months ago, warned Obama and UK's [Tony] Blair not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western-sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but, a "freeman" whimper.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically-controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? [Congressman] Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norms, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked-down-upon life choice, it is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led to this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government moneys, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or [federal] incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud Americans will go down into his slavery without a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.—Copyright © 2009 Stanislav Mishin

The "proud Americans" referred to by Mishin are really just arrogantly stupid. The wrong things are important to them. Politically, the word 'compromise" never touches their lips or enters their minds. That's why a man who could never win more than 35% of the vote in a truly honest election now assumes for himself the "power" to fire the heads of US corporations. Little men with big dreams and comic book mentalities believe that citizen warriors with three quarters, a dime, two nickels and a handful of pennies in their pocket can prevail in national elections, and men with no experience beyond picking the NFL or American and National League baseball winners of the week in the office pool can put together a winning political campaign campaigning on Internet radio talk shows. Or, that third party candidates who score large in unscientific Internet polls in which supporters of third party candidates spend half their waking hours directing conservatives to the polls to vote believing the manipulated results mean something more than the results were rigged by virtue of their sending people to those polls to vote.

Third party candidates are ploys used by major party candidates who own about 35% of the vote and who needs to divide those votes which are left in order to steal the election from the conservative or moderate constitutionalist candidate who would win hands down without two or more spoilers in the race.

Obama is now also attempting to wrest management "oversight" control of any US corporation that has ever received a government grant or subsidy by simply declaring he has that authority. When Obama was campaigning for the job of President of the United States, he addressed the 99th Annual Conference of the NAACP in July, 2008. During this speech, Obama spoke of the planned redistribution of wealth. He misled those attending the conference by saying: "Social justice is not enough. The inseparable twin of racial justice is economic justice. It matters little if you have the right to sit in the front of the bus if you can't afford the bus fare. It matters little if you have the right to sit at the lunch counter if you can't afford the lunch." Throughout his non-media covered campaign to the African-American community Obama promised the welfare generation a return to the good old days if they helped him win the election. One of the most telling YouTube videos ever published was this one (on left). In it, a tearfully ecstatic Obama supporter, Peggy Joseph, filmed by a local NBC affiliate, believes she will never again have to make her mortgage payment, her car payment or pay her utilities.

However, Obama's redistribution of the wealth is much more complex than just making the house payments of the Peggy Josephs of the United States. Even they get screwed by his redistribution plan. His plan entails not only stripping the product-saturated American middle class of its wealth, but the wealth of the product-saturated middle class of the world in exchange for a new generation of consumers in the emerging nations. England, under a decade of soft Marxism, has become a totalitarian state. Even the far left media of that country calls their government "soft totalitarianism."

Stanislav Mishin warned the American people that if Barack Obama has one more year to build on the blitzkreg he has demonstrated to date, what is left of the United States will resemble the Weimar Republic just before Adolph Hitler's becoming the Chancellor of Germany. The Christian conservatives who bolted from the Republican Party need to very clearly understand the nation's predicament.

They are now standing in a corridor that leads to the twin-doored threshold of the fate of the United States of America. What happens to their nation very succinctly depends upon which door they open and pass through. If they open the door named Political Indifference and either sit out the election, or throw their support behind the same types of self-qualifed third party candidates they have championed since 2002, the far left will increase their super control of both the House and Senate, leading to the destruction of the Constitution of the United States before what will be the sham Election of 2012 (which will be nothing more than a universal referendum for Obama) takes place. If they choose instead to open the door named Unity and join with traditional Republicans, Reagan Democrats, Christian moderates and the Christian far right, they will temporarily stop the planned destruction of the Constitution and the abrogation of US sovereignty that will most assuredly take place without that union voting for traditional GOP candidates in 2010. We can pick up the argument between the center right and the far right after we win the Elections of 2010 and 2012.

If we, as Christian conservatives and/or social conservatives enter either of those elections divided, we are going to learn very quickly how the German electorate in 1933 felt when they discovered their civil liberties had been erased by decree. Many of them spent the balance of their greatly shortened lives in concentration camps. Does that fate await us?
