Democrats added 300-plus pages to the 1,300 page bill at 3 a.m. on the day they were voting on the measure. No Democrat read the bill before passing the legislation in the House of Representatives. Several Democrats who were against the bill were arm-twisted by the Democratic leadership to vote for it anyway—and did. Several "green groups" voiced their concerns that this legislation was corrupted by special interests and corporate agribusiness and Wall Streets, all of whom will profit exorbitantly from it. The bill, they said, will hamstring the EPA's ability to address global warming.

While House Minority Leader John Boehner calls the cap and trade bill a jobs-killer that will erase over 2.5 million US jobs per year for at least 10 years, the Democrats (who, if you recall, assured America that NAFTA was a jobs creation-bill that would add a million new jobs per year)—without ever reading that legislation either—are lying again when they say that the cap and trade bill will create over 2 million new jobs a year. Their history on predicting job growth vs job death lacks a credible track record. This bill has to be stopped in the Senate...and every member of Congress who voted for this bill needs to be booted out of office. And the Democratic leadership at both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue need to be impeached and removed from office.
