Nero fiddled while Rome burned. History repeated itself in 2010 and
what did Obama say after he finished partying at the White House
and playing golf with his friends? "I can't suck it up with a straw."

When the Deepwater Horizon platform blew up and sank on April 20, three days after Transocean, the driller, brought in the BP well, sealed and capped it, and cemented the well to await the day when British Petroleum needed to pump the oil, Barack Hussein Obama acknowledged the tragedy that killed 11 riggers and promised to get to the bottom of it as oil began seeping to the surface of the Gulf of Mexico. And, for the next nine days, Obama partied, played golf, went hiking and took another vacation. And more oil seeped into the Gulf of Mexico. It was almost like Obama realized if he ignored the spill long enough he would have a new crisis he could use to sell Cap & Trade.

What appeared to have actually happened is the American people, and the social progressives who bankrolled Obama, have realized that smooth-talking Obama is just that—all talk. The breeze that empowered Obama seems to be slowly shifting. Doesn't it seem strange to you that while George Soros is feting the wedding of Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky at his palatial estate, Astor Courts in Rhinebeck, NY on July 31, the Obamas were not on the Clinton guest list? One would think the Secretary of State would invite her boss and his wife. Particularly when the wedding is being held at the estate of Obama's biggest campaign contributor and Obama's political mentor since his State Senate days.

Pamela Eyring, president of the Protocol School in Washington, DC says that doesn't really mean anything because the rule of thumb today is that the bride and groom and not their parents, write the guest list. Okay. That may or may not be true. But that doesn't explain the subtle change in the direction of the breeze as hard-left Democrats who supported Obama in 2008, are now attacking Obama for his administrative ineptitude. How many of us warned the voters that Barack Obama lacked the experience or ability to lead a nation? When you listen to this video, you will hear the far left media questioning the man's ability not only to lead, but the understand the problems he was elected to solve.

Sad to say, the Hillary Clinton "red phone commercial" was correct. If you remember it, the question poised by Hillary about Obama was, "It's 3 a.m. and your children are asleep. But there's a phone in the White House, and its ringing. Something's happening in the world. Who do you want to answer that phone?" Well, we sure didn't want Hillary answering it; but history has shown we want Obama answering even less. But then, most of us knew that long before the farse called the Election of 2008.
